O EXCITED (Live from El Macombo Video)
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Tabbed by Ben Reece monkeywheet@yahoo.com

If you've heard much srv you KNOW that this isn't exactly how it
is to be played. It is chalked full of X's and open strings.
For example, the first beat on the first 4 measures includes
a grace-rake across the strings into that first low A...you dig.

I'm not going to do the whole solo here cause I'm at work so I didn't
bring my guitar, but I remember some of it. Have fun and if you
have never seen the above mentioned video, DO IT!!!

A blues
4/4 time
1 2 3 4 = quarter note
2 notes per number = 8th note
   (the 8th notes are played with a very heavy shuffle
    i.e. long-short long-short)
3 notes per number = 8th note triplet
4 notes per number = 16th notes
more than 4 notes per number = really goddamn fast notes
   such as a triplet + 1 making a 16th note triplet and an 8th note...

8b10 = bend from 8th fret to sound of 10th fret
4/7 = pick note on 4th fret and slide to 7th fret
~~~~ = shake it baby
^    = small bend
