Common as the Rain - by David Wilcox Tuning - dropped D ie. DADGBE Please excuse any errors - I haven't played this in a long time and don't remember if it is all right. If you find errors, let me know at : uphwhbt@gemini.oscs.montana.edu -----------------------0-----------0--------------0------0-- --3-------------3---------3----------3------3-------2----3-- -------------------0---------0---------0-------0---------2-- -----4-2-4---0-------5----------0--------0-----2---------0-- --0-------------0---------2-----------------0------------0-- ---------------------------------------------------------0-- ---------------------------------------------------------- -----------1----------3-----------0-----------2----------- --------0----------0-----------0-----------2-------------- -----2--------2/4-----------0-----------2-----------0----- --0----------------------------------0-------------------- -------------------------5-----------------------0--0----- --------------------2-------------------------------------------------- --3--------------------3--------------3-----------------3--3--------2-- -----2--------4-----------4-----2--------2-----------0--------0-------- --------0--------4-----------------2--------2-----0--------------2----- -----------2-----------------------------------------------0--------0-- -----------------------------4-----------------2----------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------3-----------------1----------3-----------0-----------0------ --0-----------2-----------0----------0-----------0-----------0--------- --2-----0--------0-----2--------2/4-----------0-----------0------------ --------------------0-------------------------------------------------- -----0--0----------------------------------5-----------4--------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------0--------------0--------------------3-----------3----------- --------0--------------0-----------0--------2-----------0-----0-------- -----0--------------0-----------0--------0-----------0--------2-------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- --2-----------4--5-----------0--------4-----------2-------------------- --0------------------------ -----2--------------------- --------0------------------ repeat -----------2--------------- --------------0------------ --------------------------- I have tried to stick with standard tab notation. In other words strings are labelled high string to low string from top to bottom, or the low D is on the bottom, high E on the top. A "/" means slide up from one note to the next. Again, I haven't played this in a long while and I was never very good at it (I got the tab from a friend) and David plays this very fast at least for me. The spacing in no way indicates timing. :-) Well, enjoy and let me know about any corrections. For those who wanted "Eye of the Hurricane", I seem to have lost the tab temporarily and when I find it I will repost it (I've posted it before but of course deleted the file). Give me about a week.
