Subject: Permanence
Artist : Zwan
Release: None (As Yet)

Tuning : Drop D

This is quite a strange song, unlike anything Billy has written
before (has he ever used drop D tuning?). On the recording, it
is quite hard to differentiate between guitar and bass, since
the guitars are more or less clean throughout, and the tune
is pretty sparse anyway. My impression is that both guitars are
playing the same chords in different octaves.
You'll see what I mean...

Verse (1st Part):

x--4-4-4-4-4-4-4/9-9-9-9-9-9-9--x

This is the basic format which the song follows throughout, with
a few minor variations (remember, this is a live recording),
for instance:

2nd Chorus (Part 1):

x-----------------------------------------------------------x
x-----------------------------------------------------------x
x-----------------------------------------------------------x

x--7-7-7/9-9\5-5-5-5-5\4-4-4--x
x--7-7-7/9-9\5-5-5-5-5\4-4-4--x

Plus, there are various bridges scattered around the outro, such as:

x--------------------------------x
x--------------------------------x
x--------------------------------x
x--9-9-9/11-11-11\6-6-6-6/7-7-7--x
x--9-9-9/11-11-11\6-6-6-6/7-7-7--x
x--9-9-9/11-11-11\6-6-6-6/7-7-7--x

End On:

x-----x
x-----x
x-----x
x--0--x
x--0--x
x--0--x

This file is all my own work and represents my interpretation of the
song.
